Today Gravity imposed herself again,
and morning was dragged into noon.

Grace has showered early; she smells
of stars and blossoming fruit-trees.

The beating of my heart disturbs her silence.
(She covers her ears with green leafs).

Golden light blinds Gravity's dark eyes:
"I feed through my ears," Grace shrugs.

"You are such a sensitive freak ", Gravity responds,
looking down on both of us.

"And you are such a hedonist", Grace cries,
very unlike herslef. "You are drunk again".

"You are just lowering yourself", laughs
fire-haired Gravity, lighting a cigar.

Outside, a tapestry of ice falls on the earth.
